In May/June 2023 (May 29 – June 4), our missionaries embarked on the 18th Project Hope, where we had the incredible opportunity to serve Ilafi Village, in the Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun State, Nigeria. The villagers were one of the simplest and most beautiful souls on earth.
During our one week mission, we built a fully functional borehole facility to serve the village and neigbouring villages (Ilafi never had potable water supply since time immemorial). We also delivered essential relief materials. Most importantly, we held a word and prayer session with them. During the dedication of the water facility, we made an altar call; all the women and children in the village, along with some men gave their lives to Christ. Glory to God.
